Role Overview

As a Technical Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in designing, presenting, and supporting cutting-edge networking and smart technology solutions serving the hospitality, enterprise, and real estate sectors. 

You will closely collaborate with sales, presales, technical, and installation teams to deliver real value for clients and ensure customer satisfaction at every stage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess client business and technical needs through site visits, meetings, and in-depth analysis.
  • Design tailored solutions across Fiber-com's portfolio, including:
    • Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
    • CCTV, access control, alarms, and integrated security
    • Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), PMS, IPTV, and high-speed internet
    • Automation, energy management, digital signage, unified communications
    • Structured cabling, vendor integration, and booking platform connections
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution architectures, and bills of materials (BOM).
  • Deliver compelling presentations, solution demos, and proof-of-concept activities for clients.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and handle technical queries.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to generate qualified leads and demonstrate Fiber-com's expertise.
  • Support technical and installation teams to ensure effective solution delivery, commissioning, and handover.
  • Keep documentation and CRM systems up to date with all relevant activities and project interactions.
  • Gather market feedback, competitor insights, and customer data to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a presales engineer, technical sales engineer, or equivalent networking/ICT role.
  • Technical proficiency in network/system design (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, security), smart solutions, and structured cabling.
  • Knowledge of hospitality and building management solutions (PMS, GRMS, IPTV, energy, digital signage, etc.).
  • Familiarity with leading vendors (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.) is preferred.
  • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, NSE, or HCIA/HCIP are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and other regions as needed.
  • Valid driver's license.
