Expanding its services in the region, Fiber-com is launching a new business line dedicated to advanced networking and telecommunications for hospitality, commercial, and enterprise clients.
Role Overview
Network Engineers will drive the design, deployment, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures supporting Fiber-com's new projects.
This role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and improvement of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems for diverse client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, and firewalls.
- Design network architectures tailored to hotels, commercial buildings, and enterprise needs.
- Perform routine monitoring, performance analysis, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues.
- Implement security best practices: firewall rules, VLANs, intrusion prevention, and secure remote access.
- Document network designs, configurations, and change histories accurately.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and technology transitions.
- Collaborate with presales, project, and installation teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated incidents and guide less experienced team members.
- Participate in site surveys, network assessments, and client consultations.
- Keep up to date with new networking technologies, protocols, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.

Technical proficiency in:
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Routing and switching (Cisco, HPE, Juniper, or similar)
- VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless network design
- Structured cabling and network equipment installation
- Familiarity with hospitality infrastructure, network security, and enterprise environments is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Professional certifications (eg, CCNA, CCNP, NSE, Aruba, etc.) are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site, travel as needed, and respond to urgent network issues.
- Valid driver's license.
