About the Role
Presales Network Engineer – Smart Systems & ICT will join a technical sales team.
In this role, you will design and present advanced network and smart technology solutions for hospitality and enterprise clients, working closely with sales, presales, technical, and installation teams.
We are looking for a proactive, technically skilled professional with a passion for customer engagement and solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and design tailored network and smart systems solutions (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, security, IPTV, IoT, and more).
- Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, and bills of materials (BOM).
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Collaborate with sales and presales teams to identify and qualify opportunities.
- Present technical solutions and conduct product demonstrations for customers and partners.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical queries from clients.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and forums to represent Fiber-com and generate new leads.
- Coordinate with technical, installation, and project management teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Support handover to implementation and provide technical guidance during deployment.
- Collect and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitor information to inform solution development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a presales engineer in networking, ICT, or smart systems.
- Strong knowledge of network design (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, security, structured cabling).
- Familiarity with smart hospitality and building management solutions (PMS, GRMS, IPTV, access control, CCTV, IoT).
- Experience with major vendors (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.) is a plus.
- Professional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE, HCIA/HCIP, etc.) are highly valued.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and other regions as required.
- Team player with a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
